Moonlight peels from the mildewed sill
That once framed a life worth living
As shattered stars wink from the carpet's
Sky. The clock's lifeless hands droop
Beneath a lonely face. Weakened
Timber creaks under mouse paws.

Dust warms the splintered legs
Of a favorite chair grown cold
And cobwebs embrace abandoned
Trinkets. The rusted faucet blinks
Back a dripping tear. Moonlight
Falls from the wall in curls.
Rather gloomy freeverse that deals with change and abandonment. Such is life.

Wow, you are amazing. This peice was really immersing, to say the least about it. Your final line is so powerful and beautiful, it's almost a perfect line, I'd say. Anyways, I'm feeling kind of speechless over it, but keep up the good work.
